Malabar Hill

Malabar Hill is a small hillock in southern Mumbai, India, and is the location of the Walkeshwar Temple, founded by the Silhara kings.

Hanging Gardens

The Hanging Gardens, Mumbai, in Mumbai, India, also known as Ferozeshah Mehta Gardens, are terraced gardens perched at the top of Malabar Hill, on its western side, just opposite the Kamala Nehru Park. They provide lovely sunset views over the Arabian Sea and feature numerous hedges carved into the shapes of animals. The park was laid out in 1881 over Bombay's main reservoir.

St. Thomas Cathedral

St Thomas ' Cathedral, Mumbai was the first Anglican Church in Mumbai built in 1718. Cathedral was an effort to improve the moral standards of the growing British settlement. It was selected for the UNESCO Asia-Pacific heritage conservation award 2004, St. Thomas Church owes its name to St. Thomas, a disciple of Christ who came to India to establish Christianity.

Bombay University and the Oval Maidan

Next to the High Court on Bhaurao Patil Road lies the Venetian Gothic Bombay University which has a Gothic clock tower 260 feet high, that is curiously adorned with oriental figures. In the old days it used to play Rule Britannia, God Save the king, Auld Lang Syne and a Handel symphony among 16 tunes that changed four times a day,
The University Buildings stand between the High Court and the Old Secretariat Designed by Sir Gilbert Scott, in French Gothic style.The funds for making this was donated by a Parsi philantropist Sir Cowasji Jehangir .The convocation Hall, named after him resembles a church. The Library Building comprises of two floors. Above the porch of the building rises the 280 feet high Rajabai Clock Tower.
