| Day 3 - Wednesday | ||||
After early breakfast go for a sight seeing of Mysore visiting Mysore Palace, Brindavan Gardens. Return to the train by 23h00. Overnight onboard the luxury train The Golden chariot. 141 kms from Bangalore, Mysore has been always associated with the royal families and their patronage, be it the Wodeyars or the Sultans. Mysore is a city known for its resplendent palaces and majestic buildings. A visit to the city conjures up visions of the glory, still evident of the illustrious Wodeyar Kings. This former state capital still retains its tradition in music and dance, art and literature and its time-honoured crafts. Srirangapatna: The island fortress of the legendary warrior king Tipu Sultan is just 14 km from Mysore city. |

Day 4 - Thursday |

The train departs early morning arriving at Hassan by 08h40. On arrival visit Halebidu / Belur and transfer back to rain in time for lunch, thereafter drive to Sravanbelagola to visit famous Jain temple. Later return to train for dinner and overnight. |

Belur in Hassan district 220 kms from Bangalore and 38 kms from Hassan is famous for its magnificent Hoysala Temple Complex. The Chennakesava Temple here is the major attraction, built by Hoysala Vishnuvardhana. Halebidu in Hassan district is 27 kms away from Hassan and was the capital of the Hoysalas. It has one of the finest Hoysala temples. |

Day 5 - Friday |

Early morning we will arrive at TB DAM and drive up to the hill for the breakfast 08h30 later transfer to train for onward journey to Hospet / Hampi. (A UNESCO World Heritage site). On arrival visit Hampi temples and return for dinner and overnighting. |

Hampi, the seat of the famed Vijayanagara empire was the capital of the largest empire in post-moghul India, covering several states. The Vijayanagara empire stretched over at least three states -Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh. The ruins of Hampi of the 14th Century lies scattered in about 26 sq. km area, amidst giant boulders and vegetation. |

Day 6 - Saturday |

Early morning train arrives at Gadag. On arrival drive to Alihole & Pattadakal. In the evening visit Badami (A UNESCO World Heritage site). Later transfer to train for dinner. Overningt on train to Goa. |

Aihole is acclaimed as the "Cradle of Hindu Temple Architecture". Aihole has over a hundred temples scattered around the village. The most impressive one is the Durga Temple with its semi- circular apse, elevated plinth and the gallery encircling the sanctum. |

Day 7 - Sunday |

Arrival in Goa in early morning. Later visit beaches of Goa and thereafter in the evening transfer to train. Overnight on train to Bangalore. |
